A recent graduate of Kalamazoo College, with a degree in International Economics/Business and Mandarin Chinese, Kassandra is able to pull from a multitude of experiences to establish systems, and manage all purchases, logistics, accounts and marketing for Think Design LLC. Having been raised with an appreciation of good design, art, and culture, she is able to merge these skills to run and contribute to the creative hub at Think Design.

Prior to starting Think Design, Kassandra was part of the snowboarding industry’s first wave in Beijing, China where she worked as Public Relations and Event Coordinator for Demokratic Snow Skate Surf Shop. In this position, she utilized her proficiency in Mandarin to conduct business negotiations, strategizing and implementing the marketing campaign for this start-up retailer. She organized multiple events per week with local businesses and snow resorts, leading to her being trained as a Burton “Learn to Ride” snowboard instructor.

In 2006, Kassandra worked as a consultant, assisting architects for Vangaurd Realty in Mumbai, India, to give their developments a sophisticated, functional, and more western feel. Following that she was an Indian Textiles Workshop Director’s Assistant, designing a color theory workshop to improve Indian textile weavers’ understanding of colors and product commerciality to increase their export viability.

Kassandra has worked with Dow Jones Newswires in New York City, and internationally as a model with Fusion International Model Management. She believes in giving back to her community and spent three years working as a career adviser at Kalamazoo College and founded World Night, a 170-member international dance company that performs everything from Irish dances to taiko drumming and Bollywood-cha chas.

While holding a buying internship with Melanie Rogers, Kassandra met David Weston. The three quickly realized their strong chemistry and great working compatibility and pooled their knowledge and skills to form Think Design International LLC.
